I have a BS degree from San Francisco State University. I double majored in Finance and Banking. During college and after graduating, I was working for Nike as a Regional HR Assistant. I also had my own business, A Beautiful Creation, which specialized in Wedding Floral Design. Wanting to do something more in line with my major in college, I left Nike and started working for Wells Fargo Investments, Private Client Services. I started out as a Regional Sales Assistant and quickly became an Operations Manager for the Palo Alto Region. I supervised 17 brokers and managed 19 associates. After being in my position for 3.5 years, I had decided to make a career change. Since being a little girl, I always had a passion for baking and sweets. I decided to step down from my partnership in my floral business and left my job at Wells Fargo PCS. I made the transition from working full-time to becoming a full-time student at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. I enrolled in the Baking & Pastry Arts program and graduated in May 2007. During that time, I started my own company (Sweet Dreams) located in South San Francisco. Concentrating on the business full-time after graduation, the business quickly grew into a bakery known throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for their unique cakes and desserts.
