I started my culinary adventures at 17 waiting tables in a small mexican food restaurant. After Highschool I dabbled in the hotel business, then found the world of Pizza and became a Dominoid. I started with Domino's Pizza as a delivery driver in 1997 and worked my way up into managment. I worked for several franchise owners in Texas and New Mexico. My pizza career ended after a severe car accident, and back surgery; but I did not leave the food world. I worked as an assistant bar/kitchen manager at a small Bar and Grill, then worked as a deliver driver/ garde manger prep cook at Island Italian Restaurant. After leaving that establishment and trying other things, I found myself attending Del Mar College Culinary Arts Program. I have since decided to obtain my Bachelors degree and become a culinary educator.
